Most system cases have mounting brackets installed in the case, which correspond the holes in the motherboard. Place the motherboard over the mounting brackets and secure the motherboard onto the mounting brackets with screws.

Ensure that your case has an I/O template that supports the I/O ports and expansion slots on your motherboard. The second thing that you do is to setup all the jumpers into its corresponding place. Checking jumper settings is use to setup the system configuration options and the common jumper that each technician know is the CMOS jumper which resets the BIOS setup. The last thing to do is to connect all the peripherals and cable to the computer. And these are power connector, IDE connector, and front panel connectors. Do not forget to insert the memory for it to run.

You should make sure that the case you chose supports all the features required by you motherboard. Secondly, a mother board supports one of two floppy diskette drives and four enhanced IDE drives. You should also make sure that the case you buy or choose has a sufficient power and space for all drives that you intend to install.
